Research Associate within the QUASAR Group and CEO of D-Beam ltd

After finishing my master degree in lasers in Russia I joined the QUASAR Group at the University of Liverpool in the UK as a Marie Curie Early Stage Research Fellow within the LA³NET project. I was looking for a scientific job, but found more than just a challenging job: I found new paths and new worlds.

The three-year long journey as a Marie Curie Fellow brought my knowledge of particle accelerators to a completely new level. It allowed me to apply my previous experience with laser systems, to connect with various partners of the LA³NET project all over the world, and to dramatically increase the circle of professionals I can engage with.  I have found a whole new world of physics and people, by joining the QUASAR Group and the Marie Curie Fellowship.

Moreover, the training and experience within LA³NET have opened up many paths in my career which I could never foresee. Earlier this year, I have established my own company (www.d-beam.co.uk) after finishing a Royal Society of Edinburgh Entrepreneurial Fellowship. This builds up directly on the knowledge and expertise I acquired during my Marie Curie Fellowship.
